We appreciate your prayers for Kerith more than we could possibly tell you! I know I speak Samuel and Mercy’s heart when I say that they are incredibly thankful for each and every prayer that is offered up on their behalf. There are several areas in which money is needed to keep this ministry in Uganda running successfully. Children’s school fees must be paid, food and clothing for the children must be bought, gas to get to around, and upkeep on the cars takes money as the Ugandan roads are hard on cars. If the children get sick, it costs money to treat them. Samuel, Mercy, and those that help them feed children in a poor village once a week. These children do not eat much outside of when Kerith feeds them and I first hand saw the exhaustion and hunger these children are facing. The food they are given is packed full of nutrients to last them several days. This food and preparation also costs money. As you can see, money is needed to keep this ministry open in order to take care of the children and the poor in the community of Pallisa.
